Chart Tutorial

Today in class we were introduced to the graph tool and all of its options.

First, we focused on making a simple bar graph. All we had to do was type in our percentages on the tool and press tab to move horizontally on the spreadsheet. Then, we clicked the checkmark at the top to confirm the numbers. Once created, we expanded the graph and were able to mess around with colors and positioning.

The same premise applies to the rest of the graphs, we just used different parts of the drop down menu graph tool. The pie chart was fun because once we ungrouped it, we could spread the individual pieces apart. I also messed around with the bevel for this one.

Lastly, we created a graph that incorporated symbols. All we had to do was use the graph menu, have the symbol selected, and save it as a design. Then, when we created our graph, we went into its options and selected our saved design. That is how the tiki graph was made.
